About
I'm John Otander, a software engineer and designer who likes making complicated systems feel small.
I've spent most of my career working where design, developer tooling, and product engineering overlap. Components, compilers, visual tools, and interfaces for programming have been recurring themes.
These days I work independently and spend most of my time building June and experimenting with how software changes when agents can take on more of the implementation work.
You can find my code on GitHub.
